We live to give student founders the support that they actually need and deserve. Without these ambitious, gritty, resilient, young people we wouldn’t have an ecosystem and we wouldn’t have a problem to solve, mission to serve, and NextGen Ventures to be part of.

Being a founder is tough enough, let alone in Australia, and as a student - so let’s empower and encourage aspiring or upcoming founders to take the leap of faith of becoming full-time founder, to get up when they fail down, to think big when they’re told to stay small, to celebrate their wins when the tall poppies try yank them down.
It takes a village it build a startup, to build NextGen and to build up our ecosystem at the grassroots level - so let’s get rid of the scarcity mindset and instead, work together, create and play long-term relationships, and help one another with no expectation of return.
After reviewing your application through our Airtable form (see positions section), we may invite you for a 30 min Zoom call to get to know you as a person. No prep is needed, we just want to be our authentic selves and get to know each other - are you a fit for us? Are we a fit for you?
No prep is needed and no “technical” questions are asked, it’s just an opportunity for you to tell us why you’d smash the role and to show us your curiosity and resourcefulness.
This is the more technical part. We’ll provide you with a small task to let you tangibly showcase your skills. We value what you can bring to the table with your merit rather than determining your capabilities based on past experience so this is your opportunity to show us what you can do.
